THE UNFORGIVING LABOUR ENDURED BY THOSE WHO WORKED AT THE PLANT, THE TOLL IT TOOK ON ALL WHO SUFFERED FROM ILLNESS BROUGHT ON BY YEARS OF LIVING AND TOILING IN SUCH HARSH AND UNSAFE CONDITIONS, AND THE TERRIBLE SENSE OF LOSS FOR THOSE WHO SURVIVED, THEIR LOVED ONES, AND ALL WHO STILL REMEMBER.
IT IS A MESSAGE OF SACRIFICE AND OF SURVIVAL.
